Dear Guys, I was able to pass the lab on Tuesday last week! :) A few (maybe helpful?) comments form my side:
Troubleshooting is key! And therefore time for troubleshooting is key. I was able to finish the configuration-stuff around 3 p.m., starting tests (Client/Redundancy/…) immediately. Till 3 p.m. I found a lot of preconfigured issues and corrected them, after 3 p.m. while testing, again other pre-configured issues popped up (including a few “self-added" mistakes! ;)). Multitasking is key! I’m not that fast with typing, but I gained a lot of speed working in parallel on sections: working on WCS while LAPs are booting, working on aIOS while WCS refreshes WLC-Configs, … GUI versus CLI? I used both of them, and decided before (!) the Lab, which method fits best for me for certain config-tasks. But in my opinion, the lab can be passed with GUI-only too. Environment was O.K. (Brussels)! There was no speed-issue regarding GUIs (WCS/ACS/WLCs/…), only the Client had to be rebooted (ANY CONNECT showed no SSIDs at all), which the Proctor did as soon as I asked him. Thx to all of you for your help/tips/support, and good luck for your next attempt!! Mike MICHAEL RUETZ Senior IT Architekt/Engineering Manager, CCIE#5356 R&S/WIRELESS
