is this still the best way?
http://confluence.public.thoughtworks.org/display/CC/Generating+config+files

I saw the post was from 2005 and wasn't sure if any new mechanisms
were around.

I saw in the 1.4.1 build notes that it referred to a way to replace
chunks in the ccnet.config file but I couldn't find any examples only
that it was something added in 1.4.1....

The scenario is fairly basic
we're using Sourcegear for our source control

so I want to be able to have a (basic level)
MAIN PROJECT build project and a BRANCH PROJECT BUILD Project

both of these will obviously have a lot of common parts and I don't
really want to duplicate configuration elements..

The ideal situation would be the ability to keep all the branch builds
in there as projects... But I don't want to just have to copy and
paste the new branch projects each time we create a new branch
it'd be nice if it could just "generate" all the necessary projects
from like a list of Candidate Branches Labels in source control

So i create a branch
and magically in the project list there's a new project
"BUILD BRANCH VERSION X"

I can use a lot of the stuff from
http://confluence.public.thoughtworks.org/display/CC/Generating+config+files

but was just curious if anyone had some other tools I should look into
or more suggestions....

Thank you
