I don't know of an easy way to disable the column. To get it working
would involve changes to the Java source of CruiseControl. Maybe if
you asked in their mailing list, you might find someone interested in
making this improvement.

I don't believe that the Java version of CruiseControl supports these
operations through their xml-http interface. Again Java CruiseControl
could be improved.

Unfortunately we do not log anything from CCTray. The particular
exception you are likely encountering is silently swallowed. You can
see this in the source of the HttpCruiseProjectManager class.
