i can not guarantee that the latest build will work, but I fixed issue 748: When there is a problem with the source control during getmodifications, the latest builds will fail the build. Before this exception was swallowed and the build kept green. So i am 'hoping' that the unknown state comes from a side effect on a source control problem which went by unnoticed. On fixing this I noticed that the state sometimes became unknown in certain conditions first there must be a source control error, and the next build must fail, I think this condition resulted in an unknown state, but i do not remember the detail anymore. To put you at ease, I've been running the latest build at work for over 3 weeks without any problem.
