There are some possibilities: 1) The server is broken and constantly rebuilding
2) The dashboard is broken and constantly sending build requests 3) Somebody has their CCTray name set to Dashboard and is sending build requests You could try turning off the dashboard for a while and see whether builds are still be forced (you'll need to check the log to see what is happening). If that doesn't work, try changing the port for .NET Remoting (this is in either ccnet.config or ccservice.config, depending on which you are using). These will prevent possibilities #2 and #3 from happening. If the problem is still happening, then it is probably an issue with the server L Craig From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Ruben Willems Sent: Tuesday, 24 February 2009 9:15 a.m. To: [email protected] Subject: [ccnet-user] Re: Project continually building - "Dashboard triggered force build for project ..." Hi the button is gone from the dashboard, right? with kind regards Ruben Willems On Mon, Feb 23, 2009 at 9:09 PM, Jason Andersen <[email protected]> wrote: Ruben, I wish it were just someone pressing the button continually. I did as you suggested and edited the dashboard.config to not allow force builds and it's still continually building with the message "Dashboard triggered a build (ForceBuild)". Do you have any other ideas of things to try? Thanks, Jason Andersen
