This looks like it is a problem with .NET Remoting where was this error coming from? The log file or the dashboard/CCTray?
If this is coming from the dashboard/CCTray, it is because the exceptions in NetReflector are not marked as [Serializable], so .NET Remoting doesnt know what to do with them! This is actually a design flaw in system as we shouldnt be relying on exceptions being passed over .NET Remoting. The good news is it will be fixed in the 1.5.0 release (when we move to a messaging-style format for the methods). I just want to know what it was, so we can improve the errormessage in next releases. issue ID : http://jira.public.thoughtworks.org/browse/CCNET-1537 with kind regards Ruben Willems On Mon, Jun 1, 2009 at 6:22 PM, BDekker <[email protected]> wrote: I have to admit that I would have expected a different exception for simply missing the "/" in the closing tag of the build publisher.
