-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Do you want to attache it to the mail or do you want the xml to appear in the mail body itself?
For the later you have to do two (maybe three) steps like ruben told you. Copy the .xsl file (which transforms the .xml file e.g. into html) into the "xsl" folder in your "server" folder (which lies in your "cruisecontrol.net" folder) and add the appropriate entry into your ccnet.exe.config (if you're running ccnet from console) or into your ccservice.exe.config (if you're running ccnet as a service). Next you may have to change your ccnet.config (the file, that contains your project configurations which you might have renamed) and check if you have in your mail-publisher section a "includeDetails"-section. Set it to true and if it does not exist, include it (it's default value is false). For further details look for the documentation that came along with your dashboard and search for the email task. Hope that helps, Daniel Ziegenberg > -----Original Message----- > Hi ruben, > No i didnt do any change in the dasboard.config file > to achieve this.I am able to see the whole log files in the > ViewBuildLog section in my webdash board.I am really > concerned about the attachment of .xml file in my mail. > > Thanks and regards > Maddy > > > On Fri, Jun 12, 2009 at 12:15 PM, Ruben Willems > <[email protected]> wrote: > > > > Hi > > you said that you see the data in the dashboard, > did you change something in dashboard.config to achieve this? > > > > > with kind regards > Ruben Willems > > > On Fri, Jun 12, 2009 at 8:33 AM, madhu > nambiar<[email protected]> wrote: > > Hi ruben, > > I have an text file which i m converting to > an xml format for the > > sake of merging. But now as u told i couldnt get the use of xsl > > transformation. Can u please explain me more clearly?/ > > > > > > Thanks and regards > > maddy > > > > On Fri, Jun 12, 2009 at 11:51 AM, Ruben Willems > <[email protected]> > > wrote: > >> > >> Hi > >> > >> the xsl file you use for the dashboard must also be > copied to the > >> server/xsl folder > >> --> program files\cruisecontrol.Net\server/xsl > >> > >> next you have to edit ccservice.exe.config or > ccnet.exe.config > >> there is also a xsl section > >> add the xsl file in that section > >> restart ccnet > >> > >> that should do it > >> > >> > >> with kind regards > >> Ruben Willems > >> > >> On Fri, Jun 12, 2009 at 8:10 AM, > Maddy<[email protected]> wrote: > >> > > >> > Hi all, > >> > I am using cruise control which generated a > particular output > >> > which is in text file format. So with the help of > nant i am copying > >> > this file to another .xml of the same name in some > other folder > >> > structure and i am using the file merge task which > merges this output > >> > with my log files.I am also able to see this > output merged in my > >> > webdashboard. Now i want this same output i.e .xml > to be attached in > >> > may mail too.So is there anyway i can get this > done??At present i dont > >> > get anything attached in my mail i.e no errors or > warnings attached. > >> > > >> > > >> > Thanks and regards > >> > Maddy > > > > > > > > No virus found in this incoming message. > Checked by AVG - www.avg.com > Version: 8.5.364 / Virus Database: 270.12.60/2166 - Release > Date: 06/11/09 17:59:00 > > > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (MingW32) iQEcBAEBAgAGBQJKMgvoAAoJEF19Ug3FEp1Xr58H/1ykwKaYmpqycQ8x/FmCj++L zILoX1auVabkspEGn+4NsM64CI8Jme2oF2iS0psmoWWQ5umqoQyAmvpu1p+EjPv6 2ymE8YEsGGZ4ck28ioSLaWcWuCsxhaWh1dRBittk3X9D/p5CouUiWWhUjYwGZAWW NeaBMuJxu9n/odMQHiOYBEZh4VwJ4hc9F9QchVn7KsMx1AouVINctEuRX/LxY8FP Aq4db2p3S3/g9RoXa4uLFBXY9ch7hNJDo+51ycKI0BfSBgiI0B2Jv5NhcT8s9TEr mKJD2exneF3aVXf2Kvn0R+0FoRN1Y1QcRHNF05e4mPuk8K1ouusjjNc+ZVKb/GM= =Hnfb -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
