Hi All, I am running CCNet 1.4.2.14 on
Computer: Dell Computer Corporation - PowerEdge 840 OS: Microsoft(R) Windows(R) Server 2003, Standard Edition (X86-based PC), Service Pack 2, English OS Build: 3790 CPU: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X3210 @ 2.13GHz Memory: 4095 MB Free Space: 41500 MB for more than a year and approx two weeks ago I started observing quite severe memory and handle leaks in ccservice.exe. The leaks happen during overnight builds. I have several builds that are triggered at 1am and since they belong to one queue they get serialised. I dumped number of handles used by the service overnight and I see a jump in number of handles (File and Event) that are used by ccservice.exe around the time when second and subsequent builds from the queue are triggered. The thing is that those handles are never freed and after a few such nights the whole OS runs out of resources and I have trouble remotely connecting to it (not to mention CCNet webdashboard not working). Just to give you a scale of the problem: Ccservice went from using approx 800 to 2400+ handles in one night. I wonder whether anyone else is experiencing similar problem. I was thinking that a recent .net update might have something to do with it, but I couldn't find anything that I installed around the time when the problem first started. I can provide the service logs and handles over time used by the service if you would like to have a look at them. Any info will be much appreciated. Thanks a lot, Rafal To unsubscribe from this group, send email to ccnet-user+unsubscribegooglegroups.com or reply to this email with the words "REMOVE ME" as the subject.
