I successfully configured cruise control.net 1.5 with VisualSvn Server, Nuit and msbuild, I also successfully implemented an asp.net solution to the QA team which they can select any required TAG from SVN server. And the selected repository will get copied to the required directory, and yes CC.NET was configured to trigger out from an interval trigger. So everything works fine up to now.
I NOW WANNA KNOW HOW CAN I FORCE CC.NET TO FORCEBUILD or TRIGGER BUILD event FROM MY OWN APP, NOT FROM THE FORCEBUILD OPTION GIVEN FROM THE CC.NET WEB DASH BOARD?? I also tried out giving ccnet commandline server following command and it gives the following error COMMAND >>> ccnet.exe -p=Foo ERROR >>> [CCNet Server:ERROR] Exception: Request has failed on the server: Permission to execute 'ForceAbortBuild' has been denied. ---------- ThoughtWorks.CruiseControl.Core.CruiseControlException: Request has failed on th e server: Permission to execute 'ForceAbortBuild' has been denied. at ThoughtWorks.CruiseControl.Core.ConsoleRunner.ValidateResponse(Response va lue) at ThoughtWorks.CruiseControl.Core.ConsoleRunner.LaunchServer() at ThoughtWorks.CruiseControl.Core.ConsoleRunner.Run() at ThoughtWorks.CruiseControl.Console.AppRunner.Run(String[] args, Boolean us esShadowCopying) ---------- Please lemme know if you can throw any help @ me.., I am a 23 year old Trainee developer :D.., Tks and B Regards Amila Kandambi, SriLanka, Universuty of Colombo.
