Hello, As I'm using the web dashboard, I tried setting it up via the dashboard.config file. I had not read the documentation and so was wondering why any change I made was ignored. Clearly enough, the doc mentions that any change are pretty much useless because of the config plugin. So I went to the "Manage dashboard" link inside the dashboard and it asks me for a password with the following red message on top of it:
Error: Administration password may not be empty. Update dashboard.config, section administrationPlugin. Fair enough, I go and edit the dashboard.config file and set a password in dashboard/plugins/farmPlugins/administrationPlugin But this does not change a thing, the error message is still there, even after having restarted the IIS service (via the console and the stop/start buttons). Is there anything that I missed? Thanks Olivier
