Hi,

I have noticed that a ForceBuild may trigger multiple builds on our
server (2 or 3), rather unpredictably. We usually use the ForceBuild
to ship final versions of our products (with dynamic parameters) so it
comes as quite an annoyance (server load, tags multiplication...).

 * Windows Server 2003 SP2 + IIS 6.0
 * CCNET 1.6.7981.1
 * ForceBuild requires authentication

When this occurs, the queue (as seen from CCTray) is filled with 2 or
3 jobs after a single button click.

This happened yesterday:
 * ForceBuild at 5:16 PM.
 * There was another job in the queue, so the build started at 5:53
PM.
 * This job was somehow duplicated, so another build started right
after at 6:54 PM (yes, it can take a full hour to build this
project...).
And here is the Audit log:
 * on the server:
3/28/2011 6:01:07 PM DOMAIN\user  ForceBuild Allow
3/28/2011 5:16:02 PM DOMAIN\user
$translations.Translate($auditRecord.EventType)
$translations.Translate($auditRecord.SecurityRight)
 * on the project:
3/28/2011 6:01:07 PM Project [NightlyBuild]  DOMAIN\user
$translations.Translate($auditRecord.EventType)
$translations.Translate($auditRecord.SecurityRight)
3/28/2011 5:16:02 PM Project [NightlyBuild]  DOMAIN\user  ForceBuild
Allow
See how the ForceBuild commands seem to have been mixed up between the
2 logs...

Should I report this directly in the bug tracker?
