There is an opening for a postdoctoral research associate for up to three years in the first instance in Murray Stewart's Structural Cell Biology Group at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology, Cambridge. Recent work from this group includes Science, 302:1405-1407, Nature, 432:872-877 and Nature, 435:693-696. Further information is available at http://www2.mrc-lmb.cam.ac.uk/SS/Stewart_M and http://www2.mrc-lmb.cam.ac.uk/SS/Stewart_M/group. Candidates should have a PhD or equivalent experience, a high-level publication record, and should have some experience in the X-ray crystallography of proteins or some other area of structural biology. Experience in either expressing eukaryotic proteins in bacteria or in cell biology would be an advantage.

Applications should be sent, preferably by e-mail, to Dr M. Stewart ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) and should include a covering letter outlining career goals and how the candidate would like to contribute to the research effort of the group, a full CV, a list of publications, and the names, e-mail addresses and phone numbers of three professional referees.
