POSTDOCTORAL OPENING AT THE MRC LABORATORY OF MOLECULAR BIOLOGY, CAMBRIDGE
There is an opening for a postdoctoral research associate for up to three
years in the first instance in Murray Stewart's Structural Cell Biology
Group at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology, Cambridge. Recent work
from this group includes Science, 302:1405-1407, Nature, 432:872-877 and
Nature, 435:693-696. Further information is available at

applicant will undertake research projects that will focus primarily on the
structure of complexes involved in cell motility or nuclear trafficking and
will require the integration of structural, cellular, molecular and
biochemical methods.
Candidates should have a PhD or equivalent experience, a high-level
publication record, and should have some experience in the X-ray
crystallography of proteins or some other area of structural biology.
Experience in either expressing eukaryotic proteins in bacteria or in cell
biology would be an advantage.
