Dear all,
A workshop on HIGH-THROUGHPUT MACROMOLECULAR CRYSTALLISATION will be
held at the Netherlands Cancer Institute (NKI), Amsterdam, The
Netherlands, from December 14 – 16, 2005 (http://xtal.nki.nl
<http://xtal.nki.nl/>)
The workshop includes presentations and tutorials/practicals on
automated crystallization technologies and is intended for students and
postdocs that have experience with or would like to learn about
crystallization robotics and high-throughput macromolecular
crystallography.
Participants will get demonstrations and tutorials and an opportunity to
work with the different robotics themselves. People are encouraged to
bring their own samples.
The workshop is organised by BIOXHIT, SPINE and 3D-Reportoire and is
meant for students and postdocs working in labs that are participating
in any of these projects.
However, a few places will be available for motivated people that do not
belong to these projects.
More details about the program can be found on our website
http://xtal.nki.nl <http://xtal.nki.nl/>

Registration for the workshop is free and includes coffee, thee, lunch,
dinner and use of workshop material and equipment. Travel and
accommodation will have to be arranged by the participants themselves.
We have made a special deal with Hotel Artemis
(http://www.artemisamsterdam.com/). It is not a cheap hotel (125 euro
per night, excl. tax), but it is located near the NKI.
Other hotels in Amsterdam can be found at http://www.hotels.nl
