Hello,

there are already some solved structure in the PDB (or EDS) with very
high B factors. Maybe the responsible scientists can give you advice how
to deal with.

for instance:

PDB-ID estim. B factor
1x8w 138
1xa6 100
1xdv 108
1xn4 119
1xxh 111
1ykq 107
1z1g 242 !!
1z9j 144
1z9k 166
1ze0 116
1xpo 108

regards,

Dear all,

I¡¦m facing a problem with a new data set which collected from
synchrotron. All the statistics of data collection look normal, only the Wilson
plot shows the suggested B factor around 133 !! I¡¦ve tried to split the data
into several parts and scaled each of them individually, but still didn¡¦t get
any improvement. I don¡¦t know is this the reason that makes me couldn't find
the correct solution from the molecular replacement phasing. Deeply appreciate
if anyone has any suggestion for me.
