Dear all,
A postdoctoral position in structural biology is available in the Department of
Biochemistry, University of Western Ontario, London, Ontario, Canada. The
current projects in the lab are focused on structural characterization of key
proteins in translesion DNA replication (Cell 107:91-102, 2001; Nature,
424:1083-1087, 2003) and proteins for regulation of transcription elongation
(Cell, Vol. 109, 193-203, 2002). Most of the proteins in the study have been
cloned, expressed and purified. Some of them have been crystallized. The
laboratory is fully equipped for molecular biology, biochemistry, and X-ray
crystallography. Qualified candidates must have experience in protein
crystallography with prior publications. The University of Western Ontario is
located in London, Ontario. London is a comfortable city with reasonable cost
of living and close to major cities in the eastern North America.
