Hi As Bill says, Mosflm doesn't work if built with gfortran. This is because gfortran doesn't handle "writes to internal files" correctly (which I believe are part of Fortran 90/95/2*) - these are used for the current GUI based on xdl_view. I think the problem rests with gfortran and not Mosflm (but if anyone knows differently, I'm sure they'll let us know!). I have built & run Mosflm using the fortran 95 compiler on our Tru64 Alpha, carefully avoiding any f77 switches, and it ran fine for me in my extensive set of one test.
