Hi Mark,
the (usually limiting) maximum horizontal refresh rate for this monitor
is 127 kHz which allows a resolution of 1280x960 at eye-friendly 120 Hz
for stereo (gtf 1280 960 120 gives 123.48 kHz). Yes, it's a new
stereo-capable monitor - thanks for this pointer!

Dear all,
After some in-depth investigations by our local Apple-store, it seems
the
ViewSonic P227fB is available new - their new model replacing the
P225fB.
Specs:

I think this would be suitable for running stereo under MacOSX with the
new quad system, please correct me if you think I am wrong.
