You should contact David Gohara,
you'll need the Intel beta compilers for that. Fink is so far unable to
built anything on MacIntels - but eventually it will get there. David
has a fully functional ccp4 version, although it doesn't seem to be
optimized for speed. Your MacBook 1.83 GHz will only be as fast as a
Xeon 2.4 GHz, but CNS screams, the MacBook is 4 times faster than the
Xeon :-)

Dear CCP4bbers,
I have spent all day today trying to compile CCP4 on my new MacBook,
which has the intel chip, without much success. Fink installed other
dependencies (tcltk and btu) fine, but there is no g77 for the mac-
intel. I downloaded the gfortran binary from http://
hpc.sourceforge.net and it seemed to work fine, but the compilation
of CCP4-6.0 didn't.
Has anyone got CCP4 running on their Mac intel machines without using
a commercial compiler?
If so, would you please share what you have done to make work?!
Is there an ETA for ccp4 binaries for Mac intel (from CCP4)?
Many thanks in advance.
Cheers,
Quyen
