Best regards, So RCUK Fellowship in Structural Biology Applications are invited for an RCUK Fellowship, tenable for five years, starting as soon as possible. The successful candidate will be based at the Membrane Protein Laboratory at the Diamond Light Source (Oxfordshire) managed by Imperial College London for the duration of the Fellowship. This appointment may lead to an open-ended Lectureship in the Division of Molecular Biosciences at the end of the five years This position is to support the development of the Membrane Protein Laboratory directly located at Diamond Light Source. Candidates with exceptional research qualifications in protein crystallography, particularly on membrane proteins and macromolecular assemblies, are encouraged to apply. A strong record in solving structures of difficult but highly interesting macromolecules is essential. Experience of data collection techniques using synchrotron radiation and crystallographic computing will be an advantage. The successful candidate is expected to supervise PhD students and Research Associates in collaboration with other group leaders and beam line scientists. Salary will be in the range £30,710 - £40,430 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
