A post-doctoral fellowship funded by the french National Agency for Research is available immediately at the Laboratoire d'Enzymologie et Biochimie structurales (LEBS), CNRS, Gif-sur-Yvette, France. The contract will be for a period of up to three years, with an annual salary of 25 700 €.
The research will be on the structural study of the regulation of microtubule assembly by endogeneous proteins. Applicants should hold a PhD, have experience in biochemistry (protein expression, purification and biochemical characterization) and an interest in structural studies. Experience in protein crystallization and crystallography would be an advantage.
The LEBS is well equipped for protein purification and characterization by biochemical and biophysical methods. Crystallization robotics and X-ray crystallography equipment are available in-house and we have regular access to synchrotron sources. The lab is located in a, multidisciplinary life sciences campus, 40 minutes by direct train from the centre of Paris.
