One open-source option worth considering is apbs. It can be run as a stand-alone or a plug-in for (x-windows based) pymol. Both can be installed with fink (on os x) and is available for any platform as far as I know, but the author of apbs requests you register your use of the software to help him maintain grant funding.

Grasp is still the fastest for quick overall ES calculation even on 8 year old SGI's. There is a windows version called Grasp2 which I believe I was able to run under Wine on linux. You should be able to run it under Mac using whatever
virtualization software.

The only program which I don't have on my Mac is Grasp - but there are other options to represent an electrostatic potential.
