--Post-doctoral position at the Bijvoet Center for Biomolecular Research, Utrecht University, Utrecht, The Netherlands-- A post-doctoral position in protein crystallography is available immediately for studying the structural role of adhesive proteins in Haemostasis. This project is a collaboration with the Thrombosis and Haemostasis Laboratory at the University Medical Center Utrecht. The successful candidate must have a doctoral degree, a strong commitment to science, and should possess excellent written and oral communication skills. Experience in protein crystallization and crystal structure determination is required. Familiarity with molecular biology, cell culture and protein purification techniques is strongly preferred. The protein crystallography group has access to state-of-the-art facilities for structural biology, including a crystallization work station and crystal imager. We also house a facility for large scale protein production in mammalian cells.
