Hi, There is a way to do similar scripting under windows but it is slightly different than what you would do under unix system. The main reason is that windows command prompt do not recognize the "<<" indirection operator. Therefore if you want to run a program what you would need to do is type something like scalepack2mtz hklin my_data.sca hklout %CCP4_SCR%/junk1.mtz < inputkeys.txt Where %variable% is the way to reference a environment variable under windows and where inputkeys.txr would be a text file containing: title My xray data truncate yes nresidue 149 labout F=FOBS SIGF=SIGF So scripting might sound less straightforward than on UNIX systems but is still possible. Hope this can help Francois Remacle CCP4 -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Witold Witkowski Sent: 01 May 2006 20:43 To: [email protected] Subject: [ccp4bb]: Scripting in windows *** For details on how to be removed from this list visit the *** *** CCP4 home page http://www.ccp4.ac.uk *** Hello All, I'm new to this game, so go easy on me.
