Hello all, I have a 3.2 A data in the space group p 4212. I have got a solution from phaser.(RFZ 9.1, TFZ 30.5). When I put it for refinement in refmac5 I get the following after each refinement cycle: special position ----------- 3.53519034 special position ----------- 2.8960793 special position ----------- 2.46624017 special position ----------- 3.37784219 special position ----------- 2.73830104 Maximum shift = 0.000594615936 What does this mean? Does it have to do with wrong spacegroup assignment. I have also ran phaser using the option "all choices of alternative spacegroups" and even phaser seems to agree that the spacegroup is p4212. The Rfac/ Rfree after rigid body refinemnet is 46/45. I would be grateful for any comments and suggestions.
