POSTDOCTORAL POSITION IN PROTEIN CRYSTALLOGRAPHY A postdoctoral position is available in the Protein Structure Group at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia. The project is a collaboration with CBio Ltd, an Australian biotech company focusing on proteins involved in inflammation control. The candidate should have a strong background in protein crystallisation and structure determination. The postdoc will be based at UNSW where we have in house facilities for protein expression, purification and characterisation (although protein will generally be supplied by CBio). Data collection facilities include a rotating anode generator equipped with a MAR34 detector, Osmic mirrors and Oxford cryo system. We have regular access to synchrotron sources. We expect to install state-of-the-art robotic systems for crystallisation shortly. The position will be offered initially for one year with the possibility of renewal.
