Hi Bill I'm curious about this - I'm trying to build mosflm on my Intel iMac with the latest gfortran 4.2.0 from fink - > % fink list gcc4 | head -2 ; gfortran --version | head -1 > i gcc4 2:4.1.999-20060527 GNU Compiler Collection Version 4 > i gcc4-shlibs 2:4.1.999-20060527 Shared libraries for gcc4 > GNU Fortran 95 (GCC) 4.2.0 20060527 (experimental) with _identical_ flags to those I used successfully with gfortran 4.0.3 and I get a linking error - I was wondering how you avoided this; /sw/lib/odcctools/bin/ld: Undefined symbols: __gfortran_filename __gfortran_ioparm __gfortran_line collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make[2]: *** [ipmosflm] Error 1 make[1]: *** [all] Error 2 make: *** [all] Error 2 Harry -- Dr Harry Powell, MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology, MRC Centre, Hills Road, Cambridge, CB2 2QH
