POSTDOCTORAL POSITION IN PROTEIN CRYSTALLOGRAPHY   Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position at the Institut de Recerca Biomèdica / Institut de Biologia Molecular (CSIC) to work on the structural characterization of drug-protein complexes. The position is supported by a joint research project (CENIT) between our laboratory and the biotech company CrystaX Pharmaceuticals. The project is part of a drug discovery effort and consists of the structural characterization of small ligand-protein complexes. The proteins examined are relevant pharmacological targets in field of cancer therapeutics. A strong background in protein crystallography is required.   Our laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art protein _expression_ and purification apparatus, including high-throughput facilities. The crystallographic equipment includes nano-drop crystallization robots, storage and visualization robots, two rotating anode generators (one a MicroMax-007 micro-focus generator) with image plate detectors, and cutting-edge computational facilities.
