Research Specialist The Rockefeller University 1230 York Avenue New York, NY 10021 Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining optimal operation and use of in-house X-ray equipment (Rigaku X-ray generators and R-Axis area detectors). In addition, he/she will liase with vendor's technical support staff, train students/postdocs/faculty on the use of the equipment, assist researchers with acquisition of data, solution of structures and computational support. Opportunities are available for carrying out independent projects in collaboration with existing laboratories. Requirements: The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in physics, chemistry, or a biophysics-related field, and have solid experience in X-ray crystallography of biological macromolecules.
