hello

I think all nucleic acids dictionnaries originate from the one made by J.L. Sussman for Frodo in view of tRNA(Phe) refinement.
The dictionnary was of the kind described by Hermans & Mc Queen Acta Cryst A30 (1974) 730-739
I think the best is to ask J.L. Sussman which reference he would suggest.

Objet : [ccp4bb]: bond parameters - na

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone could direct me to the source reference for nucleic acid bond lengths used in the dna.dic file, or any other nucleic acid parameter files referenced during refinement in CCP4 (Refmac, etc.).  I am comparing parameters between O, CNS and CCP4, most of which vary above and beyond the esd.  The most current reference I can find is that used in CNS: Berman, HM (1996) ActaCryst D52, 57-64 - based on an averaging of high res. structures from CambridgeSD and NucleicAcidDB.  Any suggestons are highly appreciated.

Sincerely,
Celeste
