I had exactly the same problem on my PC (Dell precision 380) under XP
Prof as well.
When I was opening pymol while coot was running, I was not getting the
TCl window of pymol but only the viewer one and everything was getting
stuck for a while. I had to reboot the computer to be able to work again.
It seems to happen since I installed the latest version of Wincoot 0.1.
I have reinstalled pymol and everything seems to work fine for me.
In my point of view, there was a problem with the TCl.
