Post-doctoral positions at SPring-8
Post-doctoral positions are available in the laboratory of 3D Microscopy Research Team at RIKEN Harima Institute. Our goal is to understand the mechanism of transporter system in the structural point of view. The successful applicant will hold a PhD and the experience in membrane protein _expression_ and purification is desirable. Experience of crystallization, electron microscopy and other spectroscopic techniques is an advantage. The group is well funded and we have several electron microsopes including well-known JEOL JEM-3100 (300KV, FEG, He stage, Energy filter) as well as excellent environment for X-ray crystallography.
