I searched about this question. It is said that pymol can read .xplor fromat map. I just don't know how to convert the .mtz to .xplor.

>With that being said, you can view 'electron' density maps with Pymol by first loading the map and then using the isomesh command. You can find more about this in the manual and at pymolwiki and even by googling your question. You cannot at current (as far as i know) directly import an MTZ file into Pymol to display a map. If using this approach, I would recommend using Coot, which does allow you to use MTZ files to display maps (given that the MTZ file is accurately setup). I do believe questions about Coot are 'fair game', although I hear there is a separate bb for that also.
