The newly established X-ray crystallography lab of the La Jolla
Institute for Allergy and Immunology (LIAI) is looking for a
postdoctoral fellow to work
on the structure determination of lipid presenting and lipid modifying
proteins of the immune system. Several proteins are integral membrane
proteins and are currently being expressed.
Expertise in SAD/MAD is a must and experience in (membrane) protein
purification is highly desirable. The successful candidate should be
able to work independently and has to deal with the german humor of the
PI.
