Dear all,
I came back from the ESRF a month or so ago with six datasets. I tried
to process them in mosflm but got the following error after about 40 or
so images:
*** WARNING ***
Too many background points rejected as outliers to allow
optimisation. Increasing BGSIG to 198.0(see BACKGROUND kewyord in
"Help" library.
BGSIG will be reset to original value when integrating images.
***** FATAL ERROR *****
BGSIG too large, check prediction is OK.
I've since managed to process pretty much all of the datasets in xds,
with almost the same cells and space groups that mosflm found on its
autoindex, however its been bugging me that I can't process these
datasets with my usual program. Can anyone help?
