Hi Yves,
There is no secrets about the Gentoo ebuild for CCP4.
Just synchronize your portage first doing,
>emerge --sync/emerge emerge-webrsync (if ur behind a firewall)
and then,
>emerge ccp4
The ebuild is going to solve some few dependencies like cifparse, tcltk,
bltwish,  pdb-extract, rasmol and so on and finally, build the entire
ccp4 suite smoothly.
If you were talking about the ccp4-6.0.2 ebuild, certainly its going to
take a while since the ccp4-6.0.2 tarball has been released just few day
ago. However, as long as the Gentoousers crystallography community gets
bigger and bigger we might have ccp4 ebuilds sooner, since is quite easy
to manage packages like gromacs, grace, pymol, coot, etc.
