Dear Alwyn and Stéphane,
many thanks for your help regarding the problem with WS and O. To
summarize the problem was not the ws but the Intel graphic card. When we
run O in 256 colors mode O runs fine but everything else outside the O
window looks ugly. next time when we get a laptop we will pay more
attention to the graphic card.
