The Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the
University of Georgia (www.bmb.uga.edu) invites applicants for a
tenure track Assistant Professor position in structural biology.
Applicants from any area of structural biology are welcome and can
build on, or complement, existing strengths at the University of
Georgia in X-ray crystallography, NMR and mass spectrometry. The
University of Georgia provides a highly interdisciplinary and
supportive environment with opportunities for development of
innovative collaborations with researchers in many areas including
developmental biology, infectious diseases and glycobiology. The
position includes a competitive salary, excellent laboratory space,
and a generous start-up package. The successful candidate will be
expected to develop a strong extramurally funded research program and
contribute to teaching in the Department of Biochemistry and
Molecular Biology.
