Dear All,

I believe that there is another issue with the CCP4 bb in addition to multiple
copies of e-mails. In my humble opinion, some of us (maybe all) do not seem to
be receiving messages in their chronological order. My belief is based on the
fact that I sometimes receive some responses before receiving the actual e-mail
containing the related question for the CCP4 bb since a few days! Hence some
strange, and sometimes frustrated exchanges today.

I hope that I am not adding to the general confusion / boredom, but will help
some puzzled CCP4 bb members take a step back and understand some
"time-distorted" reactions of their fellow members. I would also be glad if we
could investigate the extent of that particular issue as well (not a big
problem I think most of the time, but definitely a true one when the
conversation becomes "heated").

Sincerely,

Ingrid Mechin

It seems it would be trivial to filter for this particular message,
either at the recipient side or at the ccp4bb server side. I think
this single message is becoming an annoyance for a lot of people. I'm
very close to adding a specific filter to my mail program.
