Postdoctoral Fellowship in Structural Virology
A postdoctoral position is available starting January 2007 in the laboratory of Dr. Katya Heldwein in the Department of Molecular Biology and Microbiology at Tufts University. Our research focuses on the structural mechanisms of Herpesviridae entry into cells (including cytomegalovirus and Kaposi sarcoma virus). A number of challenging projects are available to study structure and function of various components of the viral entry machinery. We seek a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with a strong background in protein biochemistry and molecular biology, and an interest in structural biology. Crystallographers are especially encouraged to apply. Experience in eukaryotic cell culture is a plus.
