Description: Macromolecular x-ray crystallography of integrase-DNA
complexes in site-specific recombination and other Protein-protein
interactions. The biochemistry and structural details of these complexes
will be determined in view characterizing their mechanism and for
designing small molecule ligands and new molecular tools.

Requirements: Ph.D. in Protein Crystallography, Biochemistry or
Chemistry with experience in protein x-ray crystallography. Experience
in MAD/MIR and synchrotron data collection, phasing and refinement.
Experience with biophysical techniques such as fluorescence, calorimetry
and ultra-centrifugation, or interest in applying these, will be
helpful. We are equipped with Rigaku generators and Mar imaging plates,
and Cartesian robotics for large scale crystallization. Access to the
