Hi,
recently heard a lot of discussion about the ABC transporter and many
people mentioned multiple copy refinement to reduce Rfree and Rfactor.
We have a similar case, in which 10 dimers were present in the
asymmetric unit. The structure was determined by MR (model is almost 99%
identical, it is a mutant). However, we had difficulty to refine the the
structure (Rfree and Rfactor over 35%). Again, the resolution is low ~
3.5A and ~4.0A. We tried both strict and restraint NCS refinement in CNS
but no help. We would like to try the multple copy refinement. However,
can anyone tell us how to do it technically? Thanks.
