Hi, is there a simple, generally accepted formula for a "typical" <I/sigI> vs. 1/d curve. Looking at a few of my own data sets the shape of this curve does not look at all like something dominated by counting statistics (i.e. I/sqrt(I) ), which was my naive guess. Instead the curves fall of almost linear with 1/d. Is there an expected behavior for this curve and if yes, what is it? Cheers, Ulrich
