Dear colleagues,
Please let me inform you about a SPINE2/ BIOXHIT Workshop to be held
from 28th February to 2nd March 2007.
BIOXHIT and SPINE2 are holding a practical workshop with a focus on the
latest developments in the crystallisation of biological macromolecules
and their complexes. It is primarily addressed to the SPINE-2 and
BIOXHIT partner laboratory members, but a few places may be available
for external candidates. A series of lectures focuses on sample
preparation (mutagenesis, lysine methylation, limited proteolysis),
microfluidic applications and the data management and statistical
lessons from high-throughput crystallization strategies. Several case
studies are discussed to provide real-life examples. Participants are
strongly encouraged to bring their own samples as test cases for the
practical sessions.
