I am chairing a session at the ECM 24 to be held in Morocco at the end of
August on

*Advances in crystallographic phasing and refinement*

I am interpreting this as mostly to be about Macromoolecular studies. There are 6 slots for speakers, 2 invited and 4 chosen from the abstracts. Ralf Grosse-Kunsleve and Kevin Cowtan will be the invited speakers. The distribution of nationalities in the applications is a bit narrow, and it would be nice to have some more. If you are interested could you contact the ECM web site

ECM24 website: www.ecm24.org <http://www.ecm24.org>

and let me know too. There are bursaries available for the young who apply early! Eleanor Dodson

Macromolecular crystallography is developing in several directions, and > this symposium will address these.> One is driven by the great improvement in data quality obtained for many > of the crystals.
