A post-doctoral position for two years is available in Dr. V. Dive's lab:laboratory in the "Section of Molecular Engineering of Proteins" from the life Sciences Division of the CEA.
The project deals with the development, on structural-basis, of highly potent inhibitors of zinc proteases of medical interest. The project will include the expression, purification and structure resolution of the protease crystal structure by X-ray, thus skill in these methodologies is required. The work will be carried out in collaboration with chemists using the expertise of Dr V. Dive in phosphinic peptide inhibitors (see: www-dsv.cea.fr/en/instituts/institut-de-biologie-et-de- technologies-de-saclay-ibitec-s/unites-de-recherche/service-d- ingenierie-moleculaire-des-proteines-simopro) and for crystallization with Dr E.
