can anyone cite a review or even a book chapter on such a topic? or maybe even some cases of non-obvious indexing errors? of course if there are some individual cases that would be welcome also.

i can't seem to find any reviews that specifically consider how NCS
influences space group / symmetry determination - though there are plenty
individual accounts.
