Dear all,

The Commissariat à l'Energie Atomique (CEA, France) is financing a
number of PhD fellowships at the Institut de Biologie Structurale (IBS,
Grenoble) that concern "Structural Biology and Biophysics " or
"Molecular Biophysics" :

    * SL-DSV-08-013    Recognition of danger signals and activation of
      effector mechanisms of innate immunity
    * SL-DSV-08-025    Production and structural characterization of
oxygen-resistant hydrogenases for the industrial production of
      biohydrogen.
    * SL-DSV-08-027    Interactions between solubilized membrane
      transporters
    * SL-DSV-08-039    Structure-function analysis of glycosaminoglycan
oligosaccharides targeted by cytokines and/or pathogens
    * SL-DSV-08-040    Structural and dynamical studies of proteins in
      motion
    * SL-DSV-08-041    Study of a new class of essential ATPases found
      exclusively in bacteria.
    * SL-DSV-08-044    Study of protein folding and unfolding by real
      time multidimensional NMR.
    * SL-DSV-08-048    Functional and structural studies of
protein-protein interactions in the innate and adaptative immune
      response
    * SL-DSV-08-049    Structural studies of membrane transporters
    * SL-DSV-08-050    Function and structure of surface proteins
      involved in pneumococcal diseases

The recruitment of candidates will be based on excellence.
Candidates are invited to apply through the Web site at
http://www-dsv.cea.fr/en/phd-program  and, in particular,
at
