Yup.

Make a PDB file with 1 atom at the centre of your sphere.

Use "Map and Mask Utilities/Create and edit mask"
to make a spherical mask about this atom. Increase the radius as big as you want.

Use "Map and Mask Utilities/Mapcutting"

There may be an issue of having the mask on the same grid as the map - not sure. In which case you may need to run ncsmask from the command line.

Hi,

Is it possible to cut out a spherical map around a heavy atom site
directly without having to make bones or building something? I want to
place that in a larger P1 cell and use that for phased molecular
replacement (Phaser / Molrep).. can someone point me how to do that?
