Hi all, I’ve wondered what use a Google Maps mashup would be to the structural biology community, so for some fun I set up the following web page (please let me know if something like it already exists)…
http://www.pageforaday.com/xtalwizard/maps/ It’s aimed at new PIs at small research institutes with limited facilities. They can use the map to quickly find people in their region who have listed specialist equipment (Xe pressure chamber, DLS, etc) on the web site that they might be willing to let others use (such as in a collaboration of some sort). To circumvent data protection issues, people who list equipment need only submit a webpage which includes suitable contact information rather than submitting a contact name/e-mail address/phone number. If people find it useful I will try to fix any bugs and improve it with any user suggestions. Thanks, AGS _________________________________________________________________ Keep your kids safer online with Windows Live Family Safety. http://www.windowslive.com/family_safety/overview.html?ocid=TXT_TAGLM_WL_family_safety_072008
