Dear Scientists, I am happy to receive your helpful support to give the raw overview of this problem. Here I would like to give you the information so far. The question is: "Have you ever applied monoclonal antibody for crystallization of membrane protein?"
*Total voter: 48* 26 people (*54%*) are working on membrane protein but never try MAb. 9 people (*19%*) are generating the MAb. 10 people (*21%*) applied MAb but failed to get the crystal. 3 people (*6%*) succeeded to get the crystal or increased the resolution. I am surprised by the high percentage of failure case. However, 3/13 successful cases are also a good point for researchers who want to apply MAb.
